All the staff was genuinely helpful and extremely friendly, tackled my issues.

The location is unbeatable, close to a very good bakery. the staff here was incredibly nice. It's close to a sandy beach and surrounded by beautiful restaurants in Naxos.

Valena Mare was clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden and in a beautiful location 5 minutes from a wonderful beach. The owners were friendly and obliging and gave us lifts to the port. We were made to feel very welcome.

The only inconvenience was distance from transport into town, 15-20 minutes' walk down the beach to the bus stop and a little further to the nearest shop. Apparently the road will be asphalted this autumn so the bus route may be extended.

Excelent hospitality! The family that owns the hotel made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Elena and Vaggelis! Location was amazing, I must confess I almost enjoyed the 15 munite bumpy ride to the hotel! Very close to the beach (3-4 minute walk), quiet and peaceful. The view from our porch to the nice garden was something we enjoyed every morning. The room was spacious, everything was clean and brand new. Decoration has a very nice touch which we apprecited. Our 2,5 year old daughter enjoyed the garden and the sea even more than we did! It is certainly a value-for-money destination.

I am not sure everyone enjoys the bumpy rides to the hotel. If the roads to the hotel improve it will certainly be a major plus.

The staff here is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, and I stayed in a beautifully decorated family junior suite with a lovely garden view.

We loved it at Valena Mare and would highly recommend it. The family who manages it are wonderful and very helpful. It is a short walk to a fantastic beach and there is beach umbrellas nearby for rent and several great places to eat within walking distance. You do not need a car. Petros, the owner will take you to and from the port and to the supermarket and will help you with transport if you want to sightsee on Naxos. The location was peaceful, and the rooms were spacious, clean and attractive. There is a small but well equipped kitchen in the room. There is also free high speed wi fi in the rooms if you ask for it.

A wonderful way to end my trip. Gorgeous place with great staff. Very good wi-fi. Amazing and marvellous location for my purposes. Walking distance to a bakery and a supermarket across the street. New building and rooms with nice decoration. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Valena Mare Suites & Apartments in Plaka, Naxos. It was the perfect way to conclude my trip, with a beautiful location and fantastic staff. the Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a great plus for me. the convenience of having a bakery and supermarket nearby was excellent. the new building and rooms were tastefully decorated, making my experience all the more enjoyable.

The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. The owners of Valena Mare were very friendly, warm and extremely helpful. The made our stay (with a baby) through their support very comfortable and made us feeling like being at home. The location of Valena Mare is perfect, only 150 m from beach, and Plaka beach is a really wonderful beach. When we visit in the future Naxos, we will try to stay again in Valena Mare.

Hospitality of the owners was amazing. Very friendly, helpful - great service. Good location for relaxing - 200 meters from the beach in quiet neighborhood.

This place has a great location with a lovely garden area, and it's only a 15-minute drive from Rachi Polichnitou.

This family run hotel was too isolated in remote area, very far from main town, food places and tourist attractions. Without a car you are VERY inconvenienced.

One of the best hotels ever! Friendly staff, great location(just a few min from beautiful beach) charming rooms, warm welcome, staff gives great tips, brand new hotel. Would definitely recommend it!
